Orbicentral App APK

Orbicentral Satellite Tracker App for Orbicentral, based on a hard fork of Look4Sat v3.2.3 Main features: Predicting satellite positions and passes for up to a week Showing the list of currently active and upcoming satellite passes Showing the active pass progress, polar trajectory and transceivers info Showing the satellite positional data, footprint and ground track on a map Custom TLE data import is available via files with TXT or TLE extensions Offline first: calculations are made offline. Weekly update of TLE data is recommended. Differences with upstream Look4Sat Switched ELSET provider from Celestrak.org to Orbicentral.net Added a day/night theme, depending on your device's settings Kept the v3.2.3 interface and paradigm, but fixed a few bugs Switched maps to USGS Topo to improve loading times and respect the Wikimedia maps licence, which was being violated Not tainted by AI code Rationale for the hard fork: Recently, a growing number of people have been blocked by Celestrak due to hardened usage policies. This renders the original Look4Sat effectively useless. Additionally, many people (including the author) don't like the new Look4Sat v4 user interface paradigm, and many also dislike the ever increasing use of AI assisted development in upstream Look4Sat. NO GENERATIVE AI HAS BEEN USED FOR THIS PROJECT. THIS PROJECT DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY PULL REQUEST OR CONTRIBUTION…
