About Joplet

Joplet – your Joplin notes, Todoist-style, on Android English · Deutsch* Joplet** is a fast, good-looking Android app for your Joplin notes and tasks. It works **directly on Joplin's sync target** – a folder on your phone (e.g. via Syncthing) or your own **WebDAV server** (e.g. mailbox.org, Nextcloud). No extra account, no Joplet server. Joplin on your computer picks up every change at its next sync. Why Joplet? ⚡ **Instant and offline.** Joplet reads and writes the Joplin files on your phone directly. Hundreds of notes open in a moment – with or without a connection. 🔒 **Your data stays yours.** No Joplet server, no account, no tracking. Sync through your own WebDAV server or bring the folder to your phone with Syncthing. ✅ **Todoist feel for Joplin.** Round task circles, due dates with reminders, an *Inbox*, a Due today* view, quick add with notebook, date and tags in one step, a home-screen widget and a bottom navigation bar you can configure yourself. 📚 **Book excerpts from a photo** *(optional)*. Photograph a book's cover or ISBN – Joplet looks up the book and creates a note with a BibTeX citation. Then photograph a page and simply tap the paragraphs you want**: they light up on the photo, and the text lands in your book note with the page number and your own thoughts. Text recognition runs on the phone. 🔄 **100 % Joplin-compatible.** Notebooks, sub-notebooks, tags…
