BMA Introduction BMA (**B**ook**m**ark **A**rchive) is an app for organizing bookmarks locally on an Android (13+) smartphone. I've decided to build my own, because most mobile browsers don't let you export or import bookmarks easily and most existing standalone apps require a server to work. I also wanted a kind of reminder function to keep track of feeds I can't follow. For example because they require to create an account or for websites that doesn't offer a rss feed. Features Organize bookmarks in folders (create, edit, move, delete & search) Set a reminder to check your important websites regularly Save bookmarks conveniently from any other app Local database, no server required Material 3 Theme with dark mode & dynamic colors Future As of today this app contains most features that I wanted for my personal use and currently I don't have much time to develop this app, but I want to come back to it later. Some features I have in mind for further development are: Better metadata fetching Sorting & filtering capabilities Simple sync server F-Droid release Migrating to kotlin multiplatform UI improvements Come up with a more creative name Bug fixes (If you find some, please report them) Let me know if you're interested in one of these. Basically I'm open for ideas, I just don't want the app to become bloated.
