About Autobridge
Version:** 0.4.60-rc1 · **Build (versionCode):** 97 AutoBridge is a personal/development Android project for experimenting with a parked-only phone-to-Android-Auto surface bridge. It is an independent codebase, not a merge of the reference projects tracked in the project's internal docs/ notes. Safety boundary:** the mode gate is enforced; the parked gate currently **reports and does not block**. The safe flavor keeps mirroring, video, browser and touch disabled by mode whatever the vehicle is doing. In personal and lab, the build ships with SafetyEnforcement.isBlocking = false: the vehicle state (PARKED/MOVING/UNKNOWN) is read from CAR_SPEED and shown, and a moving or unknown state does not close the car app or deny the browser, video or touch. **Mirroring is the exception:** whenever the reading leaves PARKED — moving, or UNKNOWN because no speed arrived for three seconds — the screen-capture session is stopped and has to be started again with fresh consent. That teardown does not depend on SafetyEnforcement, so it applies in every flavor; only the runtime bypass below lifts it, and then mirroring keeps running whether the car is moving or stopped. The enforcing branch for the rest (MOVING leaves the car app, UNKNOWN is fail-closed) is still in the code and unit-tested, and comes back by flipping that one flag. LAB controls never falsify a real vehicle's speed…
