About Ambientarium

Ambientarium An Android app for downloading ambient and background audio from YouTube or SoundCloud and looping it while you read, work or play board games. What it does Paste a YouTube or SoundCloud link (a video, a track or a playlist) and download only the audio, stored privately on your device. Downloads run one at a time, with a queue, per-track reports, retry and cancel. Organize tracks with nestable categories (a track can have several) and filter the library by them. Downloaded playlists are remembered and can be used as a filter too. Tap a track to loop it; tap another to crossfade to it. Optional cover images, shown behind the track that is playing. Light and dark themes, chosen by you. Privacy Ambientarium collects and sends nothing. Its only network use is what you start yourself: downloading audio, and optionally covers. There are no accounts, analytics, ads or crash reporting. See PRIVACY.md. Install Download the signed APK from the latest release and open it on your Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer device. The release page lists the SHA-256 of each APK; check it before installing. Build A signed release build reads its key from local.properties (signing.storeFile, signing.storePassword, signing.keyAlias, signing.keyPassword); without them assembleRelease produces an unsigned APK. Never commit the keystore or those values. Status Version 1.6. YouTube and SoundCloud…
